Stanley's Youth Programs Build Structured Pathways Through New Sports Teams

Accrington Stanley Football Club is launching a new full-time Youth Team for the 2026/2027 season at the Stanley Sports Hub, with elite coaching, FA Youth Cup competition and a route to professional contracts.

Local Programs in Action

The Stanley Sports Hub in Accrington is also hosting a new FA Para Talent Hub for players aged 7-16 with impairments. This provides a route toward regional and national Para football levels. In Stanley, Wisconsin, the former Stanley-Boyd Youth Softball & Baseball Program has rebranded as the Oriole Diamond Club and runs sessions for ages 4-14 that cover T-ball through 14U Softball and Pony's Baseball.

Accrington Stanley's U16s squad is preparing for the full-time Youth Team through competitive fixtures. Standout players from this group can receive two-year scholarships that begin in July 2026.

Stanley Gasner, a student-athlete from Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway, has reached the finalist stage for the Sports Illustrated Youth Athlete of the Year award and sits in the top 1% of votes nationwide. The combination of the new Youth Team, the Para Talent Hub, the Oriole Diamond Club rebrand and ongoing U16 preparation shows how different age groups and abilities are being supported through existing local structures. The full-time Youth Team programme is scheduled to begin in the 2026/2027 season.
