Stanley Offers Year-Round Recreation Across Four Seasons

Stanley, Idaho serves as a year-round destination in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area with more than 700 miles of trails, more than 300 alpine lakes and more than 20 hot springs available for seasonal use.

September and October bring golden aspen foliage and lower crowds. The period serves as the prime season for elk hunting excursions.
